Alisa Komolthiti

Background and experience

Alisa is an Ohio Licensed Social Worker who provides counseling under supervision. She brings a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective, with attention to each person’s circumstances, culture, and sources of support.

During a social work placement at Mercy Health’s Mercy West Hospital, she supported discharge processes, community referrals, and compassionate communication with families facing loss. As a volunteer disaster relief case manager with the American Red Cross, she assessed needs and helped people affected by disasters connect with shelter, financial assistance, and essential resources.

These experiences inform her focus on listening carefully, understanding immediate needs, and identifying practical next steps. She holds an associate degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati’s Clermont College and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Briar Cliff University. She speaks English and Thai.
